Our Story

We are Collin and Alissa Brennan. Our story started back in January 2010 at a concert in downtown Reno. Alissa, getting unwanted attention for a stranger, did the only thing she could think of and pretended the guy standing next to her was her boyfriend- thankfully this turned out to be Collin. Nearly 10 years later, we are happily married and taking the leap into starting Dusty Bottle. Both of us have had our share of experience in the hospitality world. Alissa was raised north of Los Angeles with family ties to Reno, Nevada. After High School in SoCal she moved up to Reno to attend UNR. After graduating she worked her way though many hospitality jobs in the Reno/Tahoe area. Collin was raised on the complete opposite side of the country in Southern Maine. After graduating High School, he attended Green Mountain College where he got an education in Resort and Hospitality Management. After graduating, he took a a few years to explore different parts of the country before calling Truckee, CA his home. The both of us lived in Truckee for 6 years before moving down to the Biggest Little City and officially making this wonderful place our home!
